José Wendell Capili is a Filipino academic and writer.
Returning to full-time teaching meant bumping happily into former students along the corridors of Palma Hall, Pavilion 1, where the operations of the College.
He earned degrees from the University of Santo Tomas, University of the Philippines Diliman, University of Cambridge and Australian National University. He is a Professor of creative writing and comparative literature at the College of Arts and Letters, University of the Philippines.
His creative and scholarly works were published in Asia, Europe, North America and Australia.[1]
