Rita Kvist is born 1st July 1985 in Bergen. Rita lived with her mother, the artist Lise Holm, for three years in Oslo, but she moved to Bergen four years ago.

In 1998/2001 she was a pupil at Rothaugen junior high school in Bergen. She are now studying music at a junior college in Bergen. Her interest for theatre was evoked in her childhood, and she has been pupil at Minken Fosheim's Theatre for Children in six years.

She has acted in short films and TV-serials, among others "Taktikk" and "Fjortis".

In January she acted in producer Kathryn Bigelows "The Weight of Water" (2000) with Sean Penn and Elisabeth Hurley. In the leisure time Rita is mainly absorbed in music.

Normally, Rita Kvist worked hours a day, although she did not take part in the shootings every day.

She is in the process of starting a band. Earlier Rita played the electric guitar and sang in a band. The band was dissolved because Rita should start acting Vanja in the TV serial "Fjortis".
