Metinka Slater is an American Emmy Winning meteorologist working for WHO 13 as a Recruiting and Community Relations Manager.
She joined the WHO 13 news team in April 2022, after previously working for KCCI.

Slater was awarded her Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Iowa State University in 1996.
