          Hasjim Djalal (25 February 1934 – 12 January 2025) was an Indonesian diplomat who served as Ambassador to Germany, Canada, and the United Nations.

          Djalal was born in Ampek Angkek, Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, on 25 February 1934. He was an expert on international law of the sea, and the chairman and president of the International Seabed Authority.
