Ice Cube Biography

Ice Cube is an American rapper, songwriter, actor, and film producer. He rose to fame after becoming a member of the seminal gangsta rap group N.W.A.

His lyrics on N.W.A.’s 1988 album Straight Outta Compton helped make gangsta rap a global phenomenon, and his critically and commercially successful solo albums AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted (1990), Death Certificate (1991), and The Predator (1992) all featured political rap.
